Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor who has been a part of the SSC's board from 2011 is the co-founding artistic director of the recently formed theater company Speech of Fire. She served as Artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. Also, she was the producer and costume/set designer, composer/musician and text coach for SSC while she served as its Artistic Director. Though generally leading from within the group of actors, in her final year she made her first appearance as a director (and Lighting Designer) for the SSC's King Lear. Post and his poet wife Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her siblings. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her high school that she chose to attend. She was a cheerleader. After a brief stint at Pomona College, she graduated from Lewis & Clark College. On a personal note Post was earlier was married to Stephen Knox. The couple has been together in 1982 Michael A. Ross, an actor and writer, with whom she shares two daughters. She is a wonderful actress as well as the perfect mother and wife. Post is an example to many people in Hollywood.
